Resilience Self-Assessment
Coming Soon!
Document your organization’s existing emergency response capabilities and discover how your everyday operations already position you as a vital community asset. This is both an assessment tool and a learning journey to help you inventory the readiness skills and assets you already have, and identify top priorities for increasing your resilience.
Designed for any organization that brings people together: arts venues, cultural centers, faith-based organizations, community centers, libraries, sports facilities, event producers, festivals, museums, schools, and neighborhood associations. Whether you host intimate gatherings or large-scale events, if you coordinate people, manage logistics, and serve your community, this tool reveals your resilience strengths.
We are currently finalizing the resilience self-assessment in collaboration with colleagues in emergency management. If you are (or know) an emergency manager, or another authority having jurisdiction over disaster response efforts, we’d value their input. Please have them take our 10-12 minute survey:
The assessment covers:
- Existing emergency preparedness plans and compliance
- Organizational training policies & workforce capacity
- Facility capabilities including space, equipment & communications systems
- Community networks & communication reach
- Previous emergency response experience
- Interest and readiness for partnerships
Your results provide:
- Printable documentation summarizing your organization’s key disaster response assets & abilities
- Tips for sharing your results with local emergency management
- Suggested resources & next steps to strengthen your organization’s disaster readiness
